Wolper Jewish Hospital is a leader in the provision of medical care that not only detects and prevents illness and disability, but improves recovery from injuries and traumatic events.
Wolper provides modern rehabilitation facilities and intensive rehabilitation therapies that lead to improved health and well-being.
Programs are individually tailored to assist recovery for a range of disabling conditions, including orthopaedic and sporting injuries, stroke, neurological disabilities, arthritis, and road accident injuries, work-related injuries, post-surgical orthopaedic care and injuries to the back and neck.
Specialised Care
Wolper's Rehabilitation Unit aims to encourage the smooth transition from dependence in the hospital environment to independence on return to home.
Wolper's multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team consists of highly skilled professionals experienced in meeting the multitude of rehabilitation and medical needs.
Patient programs are directed by a Rehabilitation Consultant who assesses patients twice weekly and is supported by specialist rehabilitation and allied health professionals including:

Personal Requirements
Patients are encouraged to achieve independence and to be as active as possible. Patients are expected to have all meals out of bed and to take lunch and dinner in the dining room.

Visitors
Visitors are welcome at Wolper's Rehabilitation Unit between 3.00pm and 8.00pm, however it is requested that visitors restrict their visits during therapy hours.
