Wolper Jewish Hospital was originally established in 1948 as the NSW Jewish Hospital then amalgamated in 1961 with the AG Wolper Convalescent Home to become the Wolper Jewish Hospital.

In May 1998, Wolper Jewish Hospital took on its current name, as well as a new direction with the takeover of services from Paddington's Scottish Hospital.

A new Hospital logo featuring a branch from the Tree of Life, represents the Hospital's past and move to the future.

The Hospital is licensed for 71 beds and includes:

    Specialist palliative care services
           for the terminally-ill
    A rehabilitation unit
    On-site diagnostic services

Wolper Jewish Hospital is a non-profit public company. All donations to the Hospital are tax deductible.
